We've taken over production responsibilities for Otolift chair lift components from our parent company based in Belgium, showcasing our adaptability and dedication to excellence across industries.
Our Production Manager, Nathan, was instrumental in the setup of the Otolift production cell. Together with Managing Director Keith Griffiths, and Team Leader, Seb, Nathan visited the existing manufacturing facility in Belgium to gain a comprehensive understanding of the specific requirements of the Otolift products. Nathan put his skills to the test, designing and arranging the build of a new production cell at the IMK manufacturing facility and training new operators, all within just a few weeks ready for the project launch.
Seb, appointed as Team Leader for the new production cell, used the visit to Belgium to gain firsthand insights into the nuances of the Otolift production process. As a result, Seb and his team operate with efficiency, now producing 450 sets per week. Their dedication underscores IMKRA's unwavering commitment to meeting and exceeding production targets while upholding stringent quality standards.
Since starting the build, we have begun prototyping for a removable base cushion to solve the customer issue of needing to have varying height of the seats.
